LISTRÝMI / ARTSPACE – Art courses and workshops at LÁ Art Museum - Listasafn Árnesinga, Austurmörk 21 in Hveragerði.

Artspace is managed by Guðrún Tryggvadóttir and started in the autumn of 2015 and has been in development to fulfill the needs of the community in South Iceland.

Ten courses are planned for the spring semester of 2017 and Guðrún will teach three of them herself:

Drawing 1- 2  – The Basics
The basics of developing drawing skills s.a.: form perception, proportions and perspective. Exercisis in viewing the subject with a clear mind and developing technical skills. Projects as well as drawing ones own ideas.

January 18 - March 22, 2017.
Wednesdays 18:15 - 20:30.
10 sessions.
Price: 45.000 ISK, Material included.
Maximum participants: 10.

Drawing 3 – Anatomy, portrait and model
The basics of anatomic drawing, with emphasis on the basics in understanding the human body structure, form, proportions and balance. Exercisis in various technics. Drawing a lIve model is a part of the course.

January 19 - March 23, 2017.
Thursdays 18:15 - 20:30.
10 sessions.
Price 51.000 ISK. Material included.
Maximum participants: 10.

Water coloring – Colors and flow
The basics of using water colors and mixed media. Focus on diving into the theory of color and form, both in a material and personal sense. Projects as well as experiments and dealing with one own ideas.

February 25-26, 2017.
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 17:00. Lunch brake 1 hour.
2 days.
Price: 24.000 ISK.
Maximum participants: 10.
